Thinking Of Visiting? PDF Print E-mail

If you're thinking of visiting us for one of our Sunday Services, we have put together the following questions and answers so you know what to expect. If you have any questions that are not covered on this page, do feel free to get in touch and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Where can I park?

We have on-site parking and plenty of free street parking around the church. One of our car parking stewards will point you to an available space.

What time do your Sunday service start?

10.00am and 6.30pm (they both last approximately an hour and a half).

What happens when I arrive?

You will be greeted at the front entrance and directed to our sanctuary.

Do you have Bibles available?

Yes there are bibles in the foyer, please ask a steward on your arrival if you would like to borrow one during the service.

Do you have baby-changing facilities?

Yes, this is situated in our disabled toilet.

Do you have disabled facilities?

We have disabled spaces in our car park should you need to use them. Also, a disabled toilet. We have wheelchair access through the front entrance. For those who are deaf our services are usually 'signed' on the first Sunday of each month. Please contact us to check if you are thinking of specifically utstilling this. For the hard of hearing there is a 'loop' system in operation (please ask a steward to show you the seating area that this covers).

Where do I sit?

There are no set seating plans you can sit wherever you feel most comfortable.

Is there a dress-code?

No. Come as you wish!

Do you have Sunday School classes?

Yes. If you have children, then we have four main classes in the following age groups: 0-3's, 4-7's, 8-10's and 11-16's. These classes start approximately half an hour into our services. Please tell one of our stewards before the service starts if you wnat to make use of the Sunday Schools and they will introduce you to the relevant teacher who will let you know which room they meet in etc.

What happens during the service?

Various things on various weeks. We take communion most weeks during our morning service and occasionally during our evening service (you are more than welcome to join us in that). There are also times of corporate prayer (sometimes in silence and sometimes with people leading a prayer time). There will be a message preached which will normally last around 30 minutes.

What happens after the service?

Most people stay for refreshments and chat for a while before heading home. This would be a great time for one or two us to get to know you if you can hang around.

Can I arrange a meeting with the Minister or one of the main leaders?

Yes, if you can't get to see any of them during the service then contact us and we will set this up for you.
