Thank you to all the many people who turned up on Friday night as we took to the city streets and distributed food and blankets to those in need. Once again, it was just an awesome experience to serve these fellow human beings in this way. As you engage with homeless people you so often find that they had an ordinary upbringing just like you and me, but a situation in life such as the loss of a job or the breakup of family is often the starting point to their downward spiral.
